I did not choose this path of darkness as some of you no doubt would, it was thrust upon me. My journey into darkness was plotted even before my birth. I have never fully embraced the dark gift given to me by fate, but others do. In fact many deal quite gracefully with the horror of being undead. Feeding with unmatched lust for the blood of men. It is these grotesque fiends that I will discuss here. Prepare for a macabre and bloody journey traveler.

Nero Nocht

An odious villian of capable of extremely horrendous deeds. This despicable character is responsible for deaths unnumbered and countless amounts of suffering in the people he supposably governs over. He is a tyrant who took his throne by force and fear. He has a special rage in his black heart, a rage that burns towards the Elven race. Due to this unmitigated hatred, Nero Nocht Began a campain to completely extinguish the Elven peoples lives and their society. His hatred may stem from a long lost tale of his beginings, in which his Elven bride was murdered by her own kind. Apparently her death was found more acceptable than her union to a Vampire.

This may or may not be the true reason behind his vile actions, I cannot say for certain.I heard it from a fellow in a pub....not the most creditable of sources.In any case he did not succeed in crushing the Elves, and instead was forced to reatreat and recuperate.

It was much later after regaining his strength that I crossed his path.

Vagoris Vampires

Vampires of the Vagoris Clan look like humans more than any of the other Clans.These Scum are the bread and butter of Nero Nocht's army. Vagoris are at least twice the Strength of an average human and three times as fast. Most of these Vampires can disquise themselves as mortals without much effort. They are completely allergic to sun light and fire. Another sure fix for these Degenerates is beheading, especially if the head is then burned. They Can be created by a curse during life that takes effect after resurection or by being bitten by a Vampire. They must carry soil with them from near their graves (that is asuming they have been afflicted by curse and not anothers contagious bite), or they will wither to nothingness. Every Vampire has different strengths and weaknesses, so it can be hard to say what powers an individual will have, but most Vagoris can at least defy gravity. The dark gift's that Vampires possess, are either apparent at their resurrection, inherited from their creator's bite, or Stolen from other Vampires they have killed. It is not uncommon for a Vampire to have several Dark gifts, examples of these would be: Flight, superhuman speed, amazing strength or agility, and even shape shifting.

Lupodine Vampires

Vampires of the lupodine Clan have evolved toward a wolf/vampire mixture.

All of this particular clan have Wolf like Features, whether it be Long ears, tales, or long contorted faces.

These vampires are not common, usually banding together in small packs, they tend to kkep to the darkest of Forests.

 

Greyph Vampires

Greyph vampires have powerful bat like features. Large wings allow them to swoop down on unsuspecting prey. Usually hunting is done in large groups. As these vampires age they start to look more bat than man, Their ears become larger as do the spikes located just above them. their wings are freakishly thin for the amount of weight they support, this allows them to lay completely flat. Another sign of age is the tentacle like growths on their wings, with age they become longer and more abundant.

These Vampires live in large groups a top thin Club shaped rock formations. These rock structures are build by the Greyphs over the course of their existances. These strange nests keep them safe from the world below during their times of rest.
