Think of a compliment
you might give to your best friend or to someone you admire like none other.
Only the most lovely of flattering statements you can concoct would be a fitting
discription for Elves. They are grace incarnete and the epitome of virtue.
Patriarchs in the ways of light and deeds of good, second only to the noble
and illusive unicorns. Elves are immortal yet not invincible. They could easily
be slain on a battle field too, were it not for their inspiring battle prowess.
The Elves are forest dwellers, and the forest protects them just as they keep it from harm. The villages they build within the depths of their forests are unlike any other, the bulings grow into the trees instead of replacing them.

Their are three kinds of Elves, at least to my knowledge. The first is The Archanian Elves, their ranks are made up with the hierarchal of Elven society. They dress extremely elaboratly ,adorning themselves with all the splendor they can afford, some amongst them even have wings to accent their enchanting apparel. They live along side of the second kind of Elves Called the Wood Elves. Many of this class are of a ranger/woodsman sort, and if the elves had peasants, this would be them, though they would be the most suffistocated peasants I have ever seen. The third kind of elves are the Kinder Elves, or wee folk of the north. Often these elves live alone or in small factions. They are known for doing manual labor for humans with no expectation of payment. Why they go about gladly enduring such punishing charity is beyond me.
Archanian Elves
If this Class of Elves has a downfall, or really if any of the Elves have a downfall it is Arrogance to the point of being judgemental. Of course not all Elves have that less than pleasing quality in their wardrobe, but those who do, make it distastefully obvious. Oddly, hubris does seem to run a bit thicker down the Archanian bloodlines than it does with other Elves. Perhaps it is the ability to have wings that incubates such behavior. On the Possitive side, Archanians Make the most incredible weapons and armor ever touched by the hand of man, and their art is irresistable. I once saw a mural in an archadian temple that was amazingly detailed and realistic. When I first entered the building I thought it was inhabited by a plethora of Neatly dressed silent gaurds, only on closer inspection did I realize the sentries were painted to the walls.
Wood Elves
I lived among these Elves for many years, among them as one of their own. Before being inflicted with the curse of vampirism I was a member of this class of Elves. Reasons I will not mention here caused me to loose much of the respect for them I once held. I do sill care a great deal for certain members of this society though, one such member is my brother Jadem. I hold no grudge against him for the dark conspiracy his people played against me. He in truth is a shining example of what a Wood Elf should be, an excellent hunter and tracker, an invaluable warrior, and a kind soul. Never has the frenzy of battle brought a smile to his face. Wood Elves and Arcanian Elves alike are ruled by logic, while not immune to the needs of the heart, they are not as easily swayed by it as mortals are.
